What Details Should Be Paid Attention to When Adjusting Labeling Machine Parameters?
When adjusting the labeling machine parameters, you need to pay attention to the following details:
Label parameters
- Size: Accurately enter the length, width and thickness of the label. This is related to the label conveying and peeling process. For example, the wrong label length setting may cause the label to stop conveying before it is fully attached, or the label may be conveyed too much and wrinkled.
- Spacing: If it is a roll label, the spacing between the labels must be set correctly. Improper spacing setting will affect the separation of the labels and the timing of the next label attachment, resulting in inaccurate label attachment position or label waste.
Product conveying speed
- Matching labeling speed: According to the size, shape and labeling requirements of the product, reasonably adjust the matching relationship between the product conveying speed and the labeling speed. If the product conveying speed is too fast and the labeling speed cannot keep up, it will cause incomplete label attachment or position deviation; conversely, production efficiency will be reduced.
- Stability adjustment: While adjusting the speed, pay attention to maintaining the stability of the speed. Speed fluctuations may be caused by motor failure, improper conveyor belt tightness, etc. These factors need to be checked and eliminated in time to ensure that the product passes through the labeling area at a uniform speed.
Labeling pressure
- Different pressures for different products: For products of different materials and shapes, appropriate labeling pressure is required. For example, when labeling fragile glass products, the pressure should be moderate to avoid damage to the product; when labeling paper boxes with rough surfaces, the pressure may need to be increased appropriately to ensure that the label is firmly attached.
- Pressure uniformity: The pressure of each part of the labeling head should be uniform, otherwise the label will not be firmly attached, bubbles or wrinkles will appear. The pressure can be ensured to be uniform by checking the mechanical structure of the labeling head and the air pressure system (if it is air pressure labeling).
Labeling angle
- Product shape adaptation: Adjust the labeling angle according to the shape of the product and the design of the label. For example, when labeling cylindrical products, ensure that the label is attached at a suitable circumferential angle to avoid the label being skewed; for products with bevels, the labeling angle should match the bevel.
- Label shape considerations: For special-shaped labels, consider their special shape and labeling requirements, and adjust the angle so that the label can be accurately attached to a specific position of the product, such as a triangular label attached to the corner of the product.
Detection parameters
- Sensor sensitivity: Adjust the sensitivity of the sensor so that it can accurately detect the position of the product, label remaining and other information. Too high sensitivity may lead to misjudgment, while too low sensitivity may not detect the product in time and miss the labeling opportunity.
- Detection range: Set the detection range reasonably to ensure that it covers the labeling area of the product and the key parts of the label. For example, for a sensor that detects whether a label is fully attached, its detection range should be able to cover the edge of the label.
