Common fault analysis of labeling machine

During the use of labeling machine, you may encounter various problems. As CX PACKING MACHINE, we have focused on the field of labeling machine for many years. Today, I will tell you about the common faults of labeling machine.

1. Label related faults

(I) No label

First of all, electric eye failure is one of the common reasons. If the position of the object measuring electric eye of CX PACKING MACHINE labeling machine is not adjusted properly, it will not be able to accurately detect the product, and the equipment will naturally not work. And the electric eye itself will also have problems. There is also a paper pulling link. If the label head label is not pulled tight, or the label bottom paper is loose, the label will not be delivered in place. In addition, if the label feeder is not turned on or broken, and the power is not connected or there is a problem with the line, it will cause the label to not be delivered.

(II) Continuous label delivery

This is often a fault in the position of the electric eye or itself. If the electric eye position of our CX PACKING MACHINE labeling machine is abnormal, the label signal is mis-sensed, or the electric eye is broken and cannot be correctly identified, it will continuously deliver labels.

(III) Labels are crooked

If the paper limit is not adjusted properly, the paper feeding will be inaccurate and the label will be easily crooked. If the product is not placed properly or the support rod is not parallel to the axis of the object, the object will rotate and deviate, which will also cause the label to be crooked, affecting the labeling effect of the CX PACKING MACHINE labeling machine.

(IV) Label wrinkles and bubbles

Poor label quality, uneven viscosity or wrinkles are one aspect. When the force and angle of the scraping brush of our labeling machine are incorrect, wrinkles and bubbles will also occur during attachment.

2. Faults of inaccurate labeling position

(I) Inaccurate labeling axial position

If the height of the labeling head is incorrect, or the position of the label on the labeling head is deviated, the axial position of the label on the product will be inaccurate.

(II) Inaccurate front and rear position of labeling

Improper front and rear position settings of the measuring electric eye and incorrect labeling delay settings will cause deviations in the front and rear positions of the product.

3. Equipment operation failure

(I) Noise at the labeling station

When the CX PACKING MACHINE labeling machine is running, noise will be generated if the bearing slips, is damaged, or the labeling head is in the opposite direction of the running direction.

(II) Motor failure

The motor may stop or rotate continuously. If the label sensor detects abnormalities or the motor separates the label too fast, and the label has no gap to interfere with the detection, the motor will not stop rotating.

4. Missing labeling or re-labeling failure

(I) Missing labeling

If the label detection photoelectric is abnormal or the product spacing is insufficient, our labeling machine may miss the label.

(II) Re-labeling

If the label of the previous product is not attached well, or if the printer has problems and two labels are printed continuously, re-labeling will occur.

5. Conveying failure

(I) Conveyor belt problem

If the conveyor belt is worn, slipped, or the friction is insufficient, the product conveying will not be smooth. Moreover, long-term overload work may damage the conveying gears, and the humid environment will also cause the gears to rust.

(II) Mismatched conveying speed

If the labeling machine’s labeling speed does not match the conveyor belt speed, labeling will be inaccurate.

I hope these contents can help you better understand and solve labeling machine failure problems. CX PACKING MACHINE will continue to provide you with high-quality labeling machine products and services.
